or way that grief should be expressed, we simply believe there should be more opportunity to do so.

We believe there is no one way to grieve 

and seek to re-establish community and connection amongst mothers and families.

We acknowledge the village has been damaged

using somatic methods to move through and alchemize grief. 

We approach grief from the lens of the body,

We abide by the fact that two things can be true at the same time and that there are many dualities in grief.

Two things are true.

instead it is constantly changing and evolving as we move through seasons and sometimes overlapping emotions of grief.

Grief is not linear,

inside of a person’s body or mind is just as valid and worthy of being processed and honored.

Ambiguous and invisible grief experienced

because trauma is not the external event, rather the internal impact it has on you.

there is no heirarchy within grief

grief is love turned inside out and something you will always carry with you.

Grief is not something to “heal” or get rid of

carry the wisdom to heal generations and become our modern day healers.

humans with well integrated & processed grief

in spaces that normally only allow for light. 

We prioritize allowing grief

as a way of honoring the OG mother’s (Mother Earth) natural lifecycle process.
