Why May Day?
May Day (or Beltane) is an old Gaelic celebration of bloom, belonging, and the turning of the season. It marks the mid way point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. At Poppy, we mark it with a deep appreciate for Mother Earth and community. Flowers, dirt, ribbons, sunshine, and an gratitude for the land we get to steward.
What to Expect
🌸 Simple Flower Crowns- fresh DIY crowns for kids and grown-ups — because everyone deserves to feel a little festive
🎀 May Day Pole- ribbons, music, and joyful circling to welcome the season
🌱 Spring Farm Stations- hands-on, earthy fun for curious minds

🥖 Picnic-Style Gathering- feel free to pack a lunch & a blanket and linger in the field
