Poppy’s Play Garden is an outdoor learning space where children and their caregivers can explore, imagine, and connect with their senses.

Come spend a morning on the farm exploring stories, sheep, and nature-inspired play.

An entirely outdoor program, geared toward ages 2-7, held on our regenerative flower farm in Loveland, Colorado.

Each week begins with a story shared right inside our sheep pasture, where children can meet the flock and offer them treats before wandering into our play garden for open-ended exploration and story-inspired invitations to create, imagine, and discover.

9:00-9:10 Arrival & Welcome

9:10-9:40 Storytime with the Sheep (includes treats to offer our sheep- Blueberry, Pancakes, and Nicholas)

9:40–10:30 Open-ended Play + Story-inspired Exploration (Children are free to move at their own pace—wandering, creating, and engaging with what draws them in. Caregivers stay and participate alongside them.)

You’re welcome to bring a snack or small picnic to enjoy during this time.

What a morning looks like:

The space

Our fenced-in, naturally designed play space is meant to feel like a little world of its own.

Children will have access to:

* Open space to run, climb, dig, and explore
* Mud kitchen play (with seasonal elements woven in)
* Sensory stations (tuff trays + themed exploration)
* Water play and nature-based materials 
* Open-ended building and imaginative play areas
* Time with the chickens and garden

At Poppy’s Play Garden, we believe childhood is not something to rush.

Poppy’s Play Garden lives within Poppy Flower Farm—a space devoted to connection, healing, and honoring the cycles of life. As your child plays, you are invited to land, connect, and be held in community.

IMPORTANT WEATHER POLICY

We gather in most weather—rain, clouds, and shifting skies included. These are part of the experience.

If conditions feel unsafe (lightning, extreme weather, etc.), we’ll cancel and notify you by the morning of, with options to reschedule or receive a refund.

Because space is limited, we’re not able to offer refunds for personal cancellations—but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend.
